    There shall be a public charitable trust to be formed/constituted by the association for the benefit of its members & lawyers in general- The said trust shall function independently of its own. The founder members shall be nominated by the association subject to the following conditions:-
  • He/She should be a life member of this association having minimum practice of 10 {ten) years.
  • He/She shall be willing to contribute immediately a minimum of Rs 1 0,000/- for the purpose of developing the library.
  • He/she shall be of good social standing & reputation in the society.
  • The incumbent President & Secretary of this association shall be the ex-officio trustee of the said trust.
  • After formation of the trust, this association will have no claim over the trust, its fund, assets or liabilities etc. & it will operate independently.
  • This Association will renounce in favour of the said trust, any funds/donations or books collected or received from any individual/institution/organization/Bar council, what-so-ever for tievelorment ofthe library.
  • The name ofthe trust shall be "Bhubaneswar Bar Association Lawyers Library Trust".
  • The Association shall inform the trust about the members of the Association / addition / deletion ofthe members along with their bio-data etc.
  • Till formation/constitution ofthe Trust :-
- A member ofthe Executive Committee ofthe association shall be specially in charge ofthe library and shall look to the day to day maintenance of tie library and supervise the work of ttie Librarian.

- There shall be registrar of books containing separately the list of the reference books and the law reports.

- Members requiring books for use in court premises will gel them on giving a receipt to the librarian to be returned before the closure of court hours. No members shall be eligible to retain the books borrowed for more than a day or to remove the books from the court premises. Any member violating the present rule may be deprived ofthe right of using the library by the Executive Committee for any specified period and shall be liable to pay a detention fee of Rs.0.50 paiseper books for each of day of detention. Caution money of Rs.30/- to be deposited-before issuing one book or journal to be taken out of the Association.

- Members shall not be allowed to work underline or spoil any book or the binding thereof. Any members so spoiling any book or the binding thereof or losing any book belonging to the Association library shall be required by the Executive Committee to replace it and the caution money deposited shall also forfeited.

- Any member failing to replace a book spoiled or lost to return a book borrowed shall be liable to pay to this association the costs of replacement and compensation to be determined by , the Executive Committee.
On failure to deposit the cost of replacement and compensation within a reasonable time to be fixed by the Executive Committee the name ofthe defaulting members shall be liable to be removed from the roll of members and the Secretary may take legal steps to recover the amount due to the Association.
