Aims & Object of the Society
- To submit and uphold the Constitution of India and to work in furtherance of its social objectives, Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles of State Policy and Human Rights.
- To protect and promote the interest of legal profession in Orissa in general and the members in particular.
- To assist the bar in upholding its rights and dignity in its relations with Executive and Judiciary.
- To have due regard to the philosophy of jurisprudence and encourage investigation, research and development of the same.
- To apply the knowledge and experience in the field of law to the promotion of public good.
- To set up a code of conduct, discipline and etiquette.
- To provide for itself a place for all its members to gather.
- To strive for dissipation of the knowledge and benefit of law accruing to the citizen of the land and for realization of such objectives to hold public educative seminars and discussions.
- To establish and maintain an up-to-date library "by constituting a charitable trust by the members".
- To take measures to provide for financial aid to the members of the Bar in strained circumstances and to the members of their family on their death.
- To organize cultural meetings and legal discussion.
- To ensure recreation and sports, both indoors and out door to its members.
- The management of the affairs of the association is entrusted in accordance with rules and regulations of the association to the Executive Committee.
