Executive Committee

There shall be an Elected Executive body of the Bar Association which shall consist of the Following :- The Elected Executive body of the Association shall continue to hold office for one year.
The Executive Committee shall manage the day to day business and the affairs of the association and shall have the following powers:-
  • To manage all the properties /Assets of the association.
  • To accept any Trust fund or endowment in which the association is interested and to raise fund of the association by gift, donation or otherwise raise loan, etc.
  • - Any member having been in the roll of the Association for at least 30(Thirty) years shall be eligible for the post of President.
    - Any member having been in the roll of the Association for at least 25(Twenty five) years shall be eligible for the post of Vice President of the Association.
    - Any member having been in the roll of the Association for at least 20(Twenty) years shall be eligible for the post of Secretary of the Association.
    - Any member having been in the roll of the Association for at least 15(Fifteen) years shall be eligible for the post of Treasurer of the Association.
    - Any member having been in the roll of the Association for at least 12(Twelve) years shall be eligible for the post of Joint Secretary (Sports & Culture) of the Association.
    - Any member having been in the roll of the association for at least 10(Ten) years shall be eligible for the post ofAssistant Secretary oftheAssociation.
    - Any member having been in the roll of the Association for at least 7(Seven) years shall be eligible for the post ofmember to the Executive Body(Gents) oftheAssociation.
    - There shall be no reservation to the post of member to the Executive body of the Association except for 2 lady members having experience of 7 years.
    - The tenure of the membership in the roll of the Association Should be completed prior to the date of election Notification.
  • To appoint time to time, officers and employees on such terms and conditions as may be found necessary forcarrying of the management and affairs of the association.
  • To exercise control over the employees of the association including the power of suspension and dismissal.
  • To institute and maintain Library for the association.
  • To perform all such acts and justices and exercise all such powers as may be delegated or assigned it by the association from time to time.
VACANCY IN THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE :
Vacancy in The Executive Committee Any causal vacancy in the executive Committee except that of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary (Sports & Culture), Assistant Secretary, Treasurer shall be filled up by co-option by the executive committee. In case of a vacancy occurring in respect of President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary (Sports & Culture), Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, the vacancy shall be filled up by fresh Election in a General meeting convened for the purpose.
